Reaching Moslems

There is a great opportunity before us to reach Moslem communities. One military commander who is over a predominately Moslem area beyond Juba said to us“We are Moslems but we want to become Christians, we just don’t know how.  Please come to our area and bring the Christian message.  I will send armed guards to escort you to our area and protect you while you are there.”

It was almost a year before we were able to respond to this request.  At the time we didn’t know how we could respond to this unbelievable opportunity; we began praying and asking God to give the grace to say yes to this wonderful invitation.  It meant that we needed to train leaders, raise funds and send teams to reach these precious people.  There were a nmber of students from that area in our ministry training program last couple of years and  we have recently sent a church planting team there to begin the work among these Moslems.  We are looking for partners to help us reach these Moslems with the Good News.

We are praying that 200 people will join with us over the next year to pray daily for Moslem conversions.  This is also a very expensive operation requiring teams that are self-sufficient and able to carry all the equipment needed to live and minister in almost completely undeveloped areas already inhabited by thousands of people who need to hear and experience the love of God.
