The people of Southern Sudan are wild about soccer, called football in Africa, especially the young men.  We have provided over 30 hours in instructional DVD’s for our soccer outreach ministry team to use in ministering to these young men at Secondary Schools throughout the area.   We use the training films to draw the crowd and provide instruction but we always use these training events to present the Gospel.  We have organized many games between different community and school teams and are developing a program of camps for teams from the schools and other community organizations that will be used to hone their skills, teach teamwork and also present the Gospel.  A young youth pastor, Magnum, along with our Sudanese emerging leaders are moving ahead with this enhansed program in 2009.
