Church Planting
Hope For The Future is committed to reach Southern Sudan through bringing alive, vibrant churches to every community. Our goal is to bring unreached people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and to disciple them to Christian maturity by establishing a healthy, evangelistic local church where they live.
We have planted churches in three states in Southern Sudan. Our goal is to plant churches that also have a vision to be church planters until we have churches all over Southern Sudan and beyond. We are developing leaders and training church planters. In Southern Sudan the vast majority of its citizens are animists with as few as five percent Christians. The problem is that many Churches in Southern Sudan before the peace accords of 2005 are mixture of animism and Christianity without a clear biblical salvation message. We are planting churches with a solid biblical core.We believe that the local church is God's primary agent for accomplishing His purposes on earth. Therefore we are committed to being a church planting organization. We believe that not only should we be planting churches as a group but that each local church should also be planting churches.
